So, what is MADI? This is the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University. I started my educational activity back in 1930, on the basis of a road transport faculty of the Moscow Transport Institute, as well as on the basis of the Higher Road School TsUDORTRANS.
In 1987, on the basis of the MoscowAutomobile-road state technical university the educational-methodical educational association specializing on road specialties has been created. It consisted of more than a hundred universities in nine specialties and nine specializations.
And only in 2000 the university opensVolzhsky branch of MADI (Cheboksary). With the initiative to establish a university in Chuvashia with the goal of training workers for the road transport industry, the International Construction Institute and the Federal Directorate of the Volga Highway were supported by the republican ministries.
For several years of fruitful activity, the branchdynamically developed. The higher educational institution began work with the preparation of students in all of the three specializations that existed at that time. For comparison, we present data for the 2014/2015 academic year: specialists are trained in three large groups, seven educational programs, six enlarged groups of twelve specialties.
It should be noted that MADI (Cheboksary) existsthe opportunity to upgrade their qualifications and receive professional retraining for some categories of road construction workers. For this, additional education programs are created and introduced. There is also an interesting opportunity in the university for organizations and enterprises: they can make an order to a branch of the Moscow University for the purpose of retraining or upgrading the skills of their staff.
Over time, the structural changessubdivisions of the MADI branch. Faculties and departments (some of them) were then abolished, then transformed. Now the activity of the university is represented by the work of 3 faculties and 10 departments. In the pedagogical collective - highly qualified personnel: scientists, professors, doctors of sciences, candidates of sciences and associate professors. They convey their rich professional experience and accumulated knowledge.
It functions relatively recently - since July2012. Opened on the basis of the Faculty of Road and Transport Construction and the Faculty of Transport Technology. Automobile-road prepares competent and competitive professionals in transport, construction, road and engineering fields. There are two departments at the faculty.
It has been functioning since the opening of the Volgabranch in 2000. Prepares competitive cadres who are able to realize the acquired knowledge in many fields (science, production, entrepreneurship) for the development of the republic and the country.
The faculty is represented by two chairs.
This faculty opened in late March 2002. He prepares the specialists in demand for a wide range of specialists for the purpose of their professional development and realization of the acquired knowledge not only in their own country, but also abroad. It is this faculty that closely cooperates with the road-building and management faculties and is responsible for the "supply and demand" of educational programs and directions, taking into account the wishes and requests for the creation of new faculties.
