Statistical reporting

In order to take sometimes rather complexdecisions on the management of the enterprise, the head of any organization need data, on the basis of which he will act. Such data can come to him from various sources. The main data will be data on the state of the company, its current situation. Such data specialists make up in the form of various reports. Reports can be designed for internal use as well as for public.

To date, any organization prepares the following types of reporting:

  • financial statements;
  • operational reporting;
  • statistical reporting.

Accounting statements are based ondocuments provided by accountants. This includes information about the products sold, the costs incurred, the movement of material and working capital. Accounting calculates data on financial stability of the organization. However, the most important underwater stone that awaits a director guided by this information is that the accounting department provides data on the reporting period that has already passed (month, quarter, year). The risk that the information is obsolete is quite large.

Operational accounting allows you to get information about the current position of the organization, however, without trends it can be difficult to follow the dynamics of the company's development.

An excellent alternative is statisticalreporting, which consists of compiling and aggregating the data of the two reports described above. This type of reporting allows you to obtain information on the volume of production in kind and in money terms, track the dynamics of its development over the years, draw conclusions about the direction in which the business is moving.

Naturally, statistical reportingenterprises will always be interested in state authorities both at local and federal levels. On the basis of such reports, which provide reliable and verified information and are timely transmitted to authorized collection agencies, statistical agencies shall formulate consolidated reports on the development of the district, the subject of the federation or the state as a whole.

If enterprises, statistical reportingwhich is obligatory for submission to the authorities (and this is practically all organizations), for some reasons violate the deadline for its submission, or provide knowingly incorrect information about their situation, they may be subject to an administrative penalty determined by the relevant legislation. In general, it is better not to joke with state bodies and, in order to avoid misunderstandings, to provide all the data accurately and on time.

It is absolutely natural that a problem arises instandardization of such data. It was solved simply and elegantly: a form of statistical reporting was introduced. Currently, there are many unified forms of such reporting, which should be filled in due time according to certain rules. For example, Form P-2 contains information about the investment activity of the enterprise, Form 1-DAC includes information on the activities of the collective accommodation facility. This list is quite voluminous, the standard forms can always be found in the necessary regulatory acts or on the Internet, where they are in electronic form.

Now statistical reporting can be submitted to theany kind, on any medium. It can be a package of documents or files in electronic form, sent to the state statistical body on the Internet or provided on any convenient media. The procedure for submitting such data is determined by the relevant legislation.
