Paul Monchivoda: biography and creativity

Today we will tell you who Paul Monchivoda is. His biography will be examined below. He is a Polish bass player, who since 2004 is a member of the legendary rock band Scorpions. He was born on March 20, 1967 in a town called Wieliczka (Republic of Poland).

Biography

From a young age, Pavel Monchivoda was fond of music andalready in his teens he started playing guitar in local bands. At the age of 15 he became a member of the Little Egoists. It is in this group that Paul releases a solo album called Radio Wieliczka. Also, during this period of turbulent youth, the guy does not stop there. Begins to play in such jazz-rock bands as Düpa, Püdelsi and Walk Away. Already at a more conscious age, having strengthened his position on the scenes of his native Poland and not only, Paul Monchivoda decides to move to the United States. It happened almost immediately, as soon as in 1990 a guy with one of his bands performed on the American stage with Ronnie James Dio. He liked the local audience so much that he simply could not return home. The first steps in the musical career in America Paul did in the Homewreckers, however, there for a long time did not stay. And already in 1991 he moved to Florida and began to play in the group of Genitorturers. Touring in all states until 1996, he managed to work in many projects and with a variety of famous people, such as Pete Townshend and others. In 1996, he created the band Section 31, which recorded the album Time Traveler.

Return

Every year Pavel Monchivoda starts everythingmore homesick, and even in the late 90's recorded two CDs in the Polish group TSA, while remaining in the US. And in 2001, finally decides to return to Poland, where he works in collectives Oddział Zamknięty and Virgin Snatch.

2002 was a fateful year for Pavel. One day one of the participants Oddział Zamknięty called an agent Rudolf Schenker to recommend them as bassist Pavel. The Germans took this information positively. Pavel Monchivoda appeared at the audition. And two months later he was already performing together with the legendary Scorpions, taking the place of Ralph Rickermann. The presentation took place in 2004. Monchivoda appeared in the band at the time the Unbreakable album was recorded. He participated in the recording of several more discs.

With his participation, the Return to Forever was created. The album includes a number of new compositions. In addition, it has work and demos, which are preserved from other disks.

Note that in 2009 he together with Maciej Malinchuk, Olaf Deriglasoff, Peter Vrubel, Grigory Markovsky participated in the creation of the album WU-HAE, which was called Opera Nowohucka. The work is worthy of attention.

Personal life

Scorpions is a group in which Paulstayed the longest and still continues to please the fans with his talent. He completely joined the rhythm of the German collective and in 2013 received an award, which was recognized as the best bass player in Poland. Another of Paul's achievements is the acoustic guitar PM-SHAMAN, which he created himself. As for Paul Monchivoda's personal life, he is not married and never was.
