John McTiernan - American director, is best known for the films "Predator" and "Die Hard".
Director John McTiernan was born on January 8, 1951year in Albany (USA). Since childhood, had to do with theatrical art. Father was an opera singer, and already at the age of seven, John began to play in the theater, playing small roles in the performances of his parent.
After graduating from high school, Maktirnan enteredin the Juilliard School to study theater directing, but quickly realized that he was more interested in filmmaking.
