The beginning of the 1970s for Soviet hockey became a newstage of development. This sport began to receive special attention. It was concluded that hockey needs a strong theoretical basis. A consequence of this was a scientific and well-grounded approach to the training of professional players, which gave its results. The Soviet Union managed to raise a generation of the greatest athletes. One of the representatives of this galaxy was Alexander Nikolayevich Maltsev - hockey player, whose biography knew a large number of victories and records.
