Varicella - an acute infectious disease, caused by the herpes virus (type 3), which is transmitted by airborne droplets. The chickenpox virus is quite intrusive, quickly spreading in enclosed spaces and therefore children in the garden are always sick in groups. Another source of infection of children can become an adult who even has no idea about what is the carrier.

So, chickenpox in adults often passesmuch longer - the incubation period may exceed the prescribed 1-3 weeks. Most often an adult has no idea how and where to catch this disease.

Symptoms of chicken pox in adults are absolutelyidentical to the signs in children. The first heralds of chickenpox are skin rashes, which are accompanied by a very high fever. If you have not had chickenpox as a child, be ready to see one day on your body, terrible vesicles bursting and forming ulcers in the same place. Together with chills and fever, a strong itch in the area of the rash will come. Be extremely careful not to aggravate the situation by combing the inflamed parts of the body! Also, do not try to satisfy the itch with hot water - with windmills, it is contraindicated to wet the skin.

Needless to say, chickenpox in adults goes whereworse than in children. The body is literally covered first with a rash, then with ulcers, it itches and looks just disgusting. A very high temperature only worsens the general condition of a person. However, as an adult, a chickenpox patient must understand the complexity of the situation.

How to treat chickenpox in adults, you ask? Exactly the same as in children. A prerequisite is quarantine - this is necessary in order not to infect other people!

Be prepared for what your doctor will assign youtreatment of green - as in small children. Little fun to go into speckles, however, while you are in quarantine - few will be able to please themselves with such a spectacle.

Do not take a bath or shower until three days have passed since the appearance of the last blisters. However, do not forget about intimate hygiene (use special napkins).

Diazoline, which should be taken on a tabletafter eating in the morning and in the evening, causes desperate sleepiness, so do not be surprised that most of the first week of your illness you'll sleep. Diazoline will significantly ease the itching, which will help to sleep even better.

It will be a couple of weeks after the onset of the illness, and younotice that the blisters will begin to descend, crumble and leave in their place small circles of pink skin, which is so sensitive to temperature. The disease is moving away, cheers! Do not in any way try to help the retreat of the disease - do not exfoliate the blisters yourself, otherwise the ugly scars will remain in their place.

It will be about a month after the disease, and onlythen the skin in the blister spots will match the skin color throughout the body and there will be no trace of chickenpox (except memories). The bad will quickly be forgotten, and the funny appearance during the quarantine will still cause a smile for you and your loved ones for a long time!
